I’m Michelle and I’m an alternative wedding photographer who loves to tell the story of a couples’ wedding day through photographs. I love to shoot weddings that are relaxed, a bit different from the norm and do it in a unique, creative and beautiful way.
I love getting to know people. People and their quirks fascinate me. I hope we’ll get to know each other so you feel as though you’ve got a friend with you on the day and not just a photographer.
Photography is important to you and you care about having beautiful pictures and you won’t mind how creative I am or if I whip out my holga or 35 mm for a few shots.

I am married to Barney who is very supportive of me and my photography business. I have an amazing, incredible, funny and totally gorgeous little boy – I really can’t believe I made him sometimes! I’m rather nostalgic and sentimental…
I love a glass of wine or a cider. Even better if it’s by the riverside or on a beach. I love bookshops and libraries. I’m a bit of a softie – my husband always looks at me at just the right moment during a programme because he knows exactly when I’m going to cry … I love inspirational quotes and literature. I love tattoos, scarves and birds. I love pottering in charity and vintage shops. I love lace, wearing jeans and my chunky bangles. I love woods with very tall trees. I love pretty notebooks and scribbling notes and to-do lists in them. I love looking at old photographs and having the radio on, usually it’s Xfm or BBC6 with a bit of absolute ’80s if I’m feeling cheesy! I love the colour blue and patterns. I love collecting old cameras. I love beaches and the sea. One day I’d like to live near one…
